Womens Pull-Over Halter Leotard

I've been eyeing this style for YEARSSS, and was super pumped to finally gather the courage to order it. Ended up being kinda disappointed, because I wear a Medium in the Capezio cotton leos, specifically the adjustable spaghetti strap and the princess tank, but this was SUPER SMALL. I guess I'm kinda tall, 5'7"ish, and typically wear a 34C or 36C bra...this leotard was short and since it's a halter, that was a definite no, especially with my bust. I don't even understand, my torso isn't all that long I don't think, just about 62 inches there about. Anyway, I gave it to a fellow tall friend (less chesty than me), so can't comment on durability or anything, but Capezio maaaann...the nylon leos and cotton leos can't be so drastically different sizewize. Might reorder this in a larger size though.

This is a really nice halter Leotard! The fabric is very soft and comfortable. I think its a pretty option to add to your leotard wardrobe.

Great stretch for long classes. If you feel you're in a between sizes go up one size. I did, and the fit is great.

Beautiful addition to my collection! I am 5’0 105lbs. I usually wear a size small in dance wear, but after reading the reviews I decided to order a medium. I’m so glad I did! It fits perfectly. The halter strap is comfortable and does not pull at all. The fabric is stretchy and seems sturdy. I am super pleased with this leo. I ordered it in black making it perfect for class or stage! Since I just ordered it, I can’t really rate the durability. I recommend sizing up for this item.

It does come forward further under the armpit than expected, so beware if you have a larger bust like me. It also does not cover the butt area as well as other leos from capezio that I have owned. I am 64 inches, 130 pounds, size medium fit well as with other capezio.

I loved this leotard, it was cute and comfy and fits very well. I had to pull it up every now and them so it doesn't slip too far, and I'm pretty flat. If you're a B cup or higher you might want to be careful with this one.

My daughter loves this leo. It fits true to size and for durability it has stood up very well to it almost constant use. It is very flattering and comfortable to wear.

I'm 5'4 and about 95 pounds I ordered a small and it fits perfectly! There is some slight gaping in the chest area but that's to be expected as i am pretty flat chested, however the material is very comfortable and the coverage is excellent I haven't tried it out in a class yet but i have high hopes as i don't see any loose threads and it's very high quality. Everything about this Leo is amazing the price quality and comfort and the simple but elegant style of both the front and back.

This Leo is very comfortable and easy to move around in! It does run small though so I would go up a size (maybe even two). I'm 13 and I got a bigger size than I usually get (went up about one size) and mine fits perfectly. The strap that goes around your neck you don't feel so it doesn't hurt after awhile or anything. Although if you only wear the Leo during practice it will go up a little in the butt area which is usually the same for every leo. Overall I would recommend it and it looks very nice on!

I did read other reviews prior to purchasing. I bought a large in royal blue. The royal blue color is a little brighter in person but gorgeous. I'm a thin 5'7" and 130 pounds. I'm a big fan of halter leotards and nylon-spandex material leotards as they are not as constricting around the neck and shoulders. This leotard does not have as much "give" as my others and feels snug but no digging (probably the material used). Also, it is not as revealing as other reviewers mentioned- a few test cambres and nothing slid or popped out.

I wore one of these leos for several nutcracker performances. I'm 5'6" and about 114 lbs., I normally wear size medium leotards becuase I have a very long torso. That being said, I wore a small for the performances and it worked fine for me. I definitely felt that it was exposing the side of my chest more than I would have liked BUT IT DID NOT LOOK AS REVEALING AS IT FELT. It was a very flattering leo and looked good on the wide range of people in the corps. A medium would have fit me better than a small, but I still thought it was a nice leotard

This leotard is great- super flattering and fairly comfortable- but it is sized strangely, especially in the chest area. This is NOT a good choice for dancers with long torsos. In addition, the top is sized strangely; while cleavage can hang out on the sides slightly, the front is continually baggy. This leads to constant pulling and too much showing. For girls with a big chest area, wearing this without a full sports bra is impossible. In addition, the material is very different from what it looks like. Very breathable, but not what I was expecting.

The seam along the back makes it a bit difficult to get on and off (especially after class when you're all sweaty. And the top kept slipping and was constantly clipping when I did cambré side. Other than that, it's a cute and flattering leo

I bought this leotard for my teen daughter. Her studio requires girls in her age group to wear royal blue. The studio offers several styles but they never have the right sizes in stock and this leotard was similar (but nicer than) one that they offer. The cut is very flattering, the color is beautiful and the fabric is very nice, smooth but not shiny. It is more prone to snags than cotton blend leos but looks nicer and will not fade like cotton. I ordered a size Medium and while it fits well around and through the lower half, it definitely runs short through the body. My daughter is 5'4" , weighs 110 pounds, and is a 34A. She has to wear a skinny strap racer back sports bra under it. Wearing it without a sports bra is out of the question for her, she would be showing way to much skin in the chest area and likely feel very exposed on the sides and even the back.

This leotard is super comfy and the front is really pretty. I would wear it for every class, except for one small factor. The front slips down so easily! After every exercise (and in between) I was constantly pulling it up and putting it back in place, which is super distracting. I'm sure it could be easily pinned, but I wish it was more modest. Other than that, it was nice and comfortable, as I said before. If you don't mind the front slipping down, it would be a great yet simple leotard for class.

I wore this leotard in black, size S for a dance performance. I am 5'2", 85 lbs with NO BOOBS, and it fit pretty well. The material did pretty well in terms of sweat, and it wasn't see through. I got a pretty bad wedgie, but it seemed pretty much unavoidable with the type of dancing we were doing. The neck was less abrasive then some halters i've tried on, and none of the girls who were wearing their size had their busts burst out the top! Though it isn't super stylish and adorable, I would recommend this style as a basic halter to almost anyone.

I love this leotard! At 98 lbs 5'8" I got the petite, and it fit perfectly! I never have a problem with any side-boob action, and the material is comfortable.

I bought this leotard in the navy color a few years back. It's still in great condition, but I wanted one in black. The sizing is very accurate, I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. It doesn't cut too low on the chest and the strap is very comfortable. It's very flattering and simply gorgeous. A great buy!!

I bought this leotard for my dance team to use for practice....but when they put them on I decided to use it for perofrmances because of how flattering they are. The halter may be a little loose on dancers with smaller bra sizes but can be easily fixed by tacking the strap behind the neck.

The halter is flattering on me and the open back is gorgeous. I ordered it in Navy and the color was everything I was expecting. However, halters do come with the fear of slippage. I have never flashed anyone in this leotard, but it is a little awkward when you don't feel completely supported. I'm a 32B, and I'm pretty tiny overall, so that might be the reason I didn't have too much of an issue with coverage (though doing port de bras to the side and back is a little bit nerve-wracking#. This is a beautiful and flattering leotard, but it is for those with the "ideal ballet body type" #flat chest, sloping shoulders, skinny, etc.). For those who are more "well-endowed", I'd recommend trying either a different brand or a different style. Best of luck!

I have this leotard in both black and royal. This was the first leotard i ever purchased and I love it! It washes great and is very flattering. I have gotten many compliments on this piece. The only complaint I have is that it does show a bit of cleavage if you have a bigger chest.

This Leo is super flattering, but it is just awkward to dance in. It hurts the back if your neck, and your boobs will fall out of the sides when you move. I am sure if you wore a bra you would be fine, but it has an open back...so it would look really tacky. The fabric is great on this Leo...but the Leo overall was not very thought out. If you have a flat chest, I am sure this is the perfect leotard for you. But the price is great!

i love this leotard. it really gives me a shape. this is my secound leotard. and i will defintly buy a leotard from capezio again. it gives me a good figure when i wear it. i am defitly going to wear it to auditions. i found out that i was a petit small. but, really you should oder a bigger size. because once you wash it. it might get smaller. havent washed it yet. you shuld get it. GOOD-BYE

After reading these reviews I was worried it would be too small or I wouldn't like the fabric or the strap would fit badly but i'm glad I went ahead and got it. Its actually very slimming and stylish too! Not the best leotard ever but, would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, I would.

I bought this leotard about a year ago and it's just ok, I'm 5'4" and 120lbs with 32B bust. I have fallen out of this leo is rehearsal, out the side where the back hole pulled too far....I can sew so I added a blackstrap to it but I wouldn't recommend it if you're just lookin for a quick and easy, inexpensive leo. The scoop back is pretty but far too big and the halter doesn't hold me up well,I'm constantly pulling on it to keep from falling out of the front. I have purchased much better capezio products than this. It is also short in the torso, I bought a small but didn't return it for a medium because the chest would have been far too big.

I bought this in black and navy, size medium (I wear an xs in most tops and a 2 in bottoms) and it's still very small in the chest (I'm a 34B, so I know it's not me#. Every time I leaned even a little it felt like I was #and sometimes actually was) falling out. It does nothing for your figure either. Also, it started falling apart after wearing it once!!! and I handwashed! Do not buy! It's not worth even the $14.

The sizing is completely off, but otherwise it's pretty much your average leo. Go at least one size up from what you normally wear, if not more.

I decided to get this leo for a summer intensive, its comfortable and stylish, but get the next size up, i usually fit into a XS but got a S after reading the other reviews, I'm sure glad I did! it fits perfectly. Also, if you bend over to the side it feels like it will show and come off, which i did feel, but it didn't happen, so you might want to test it at home before the studio. But other than that it is flawless, it flatters all body types and looks great from a distance and close up. I think i might get another!

The front is extremely low. The elastic in the back will get uncomfortable after a while. I'm 5'5 and 123 pounds. And I got a medium. I'm not sure if a large would be too big but the medium is a tad bit small. This Leo seems to be built for shorter skinnier girls. But I still like it and I wear it occasionally. It's very flattering.

I got this leotard over a year ago, one in blue and one in black, and they still look the same they did on the day I bought them! My only complaint is a very minor one, and it's that when you have a leotard on for a while, it hurts the back of your neck. But it is VERY worth it, this leotard is really flattering and does not ride up or slip down, it stays where it's supposed to.

This leotard is truly awesome! I am very pleased with it. The only minor problem is that it runs a little bit small, it's good until you lean to either side and it slides down on you. But other than that it is an excellent leotard, and very flattering. Hope this helps:)

I liked this Leotard! The neck strap was great (Didn't cut into your neck). But it was a little small, and it did snag a little. Other than that good cut, and very comfortable.

this leo works great for class. it fits great except the neck strap because i am short. it wears great, i've been using it for about a year now and i couldnt ask for anything more.

I can't comment on anything but the sizing as this must be returned. It runs very small through the chest/ribs area. I think it would be a great buy for someone with a very small frame but for average sized dancers it's not a good choice. :(

I bought this in blue and black, and I love it! It's super comfortable, and a small fits a 5'5", 110lbs, and 34A person very well. My only con is after a while it digs into the neck.

I love this leotard. It's very slimming, and doesn't ride up in the back like some leotards. The only thing about it is I am kind of short and I got the medium but the neck strap is too long. After a small alteration, though the problem was solved, overall, a great leotard.

I bought this leotard a couple years ago-I had to send it back because it was really small on me. After I got the right size I loved it. I have been wearing this leotard for 3 years and I just outgrew it. I didn't have any problems with it except for now when I lean to the side-it starts to slip.

My younger sister has this leotard and she looks amazing in it. She is 13 years old and 5'. She is also a tennis player, so she is quite muscular. I am also 5' but 5 years older with a curvier frame. I am sad to say that the leotard did not fit me at all. = ( It was to low on my chest and grabbed my hips way too much. But, ALL of my sister�s friends have this leotard and it works Great for them. We now tease that it is "The class leotard" because the girls will plan for all 8 to show up for class with the same leotard on. =) In my opinion, this leotard only from younger girls without curves. I hope this helps.

I love this leotard. I bought the maroon and black for my audition and it worked really well. It's very flattering but it showed my tights line. I am a 36B. The cup size self liner worked really well but buy it in dark colors, it's kind of see through but it worked really well. I think you should buy if you're looking for a great halter.

This leotard makes you look and feel great but it falls down, and when you lean to the side it comes over completely... I love it and wish I could wear it more, but it does fall down... =(

A fellow dancer has this leotard, and she is big busted and short and it looks great on her! She says that it is very comfortable and she moves incredibly easily. So I would recommend this if you are short.

I got this leotard in black and I was not at all happy with it. It ran very small and the halter cut into my skin. Also, the neckline was very plain and unflattering. It was very cheaply made also. I would not recommend this leotard for anyone.

I got this leo on my birthday and I love it. I had always worn cotton camisole leos, so this was a big change. I absolutely LOVE the comfortable feel of the nylon/spandex, and the way the leo looks. It does make you look skinny, but just in the right way. There is also no bunchy seam in the back, so if you're on the floor or rolling a lot, this is like heaven. I would give this more stars if I could.

This is a great leo! I have the maroon color and it is a really pretty shade! It is comfortable and easy to move in. The seat does fray, but it looks really cute with black shorts!

I own this one in black, size XL. I like that it's available in XL, unlike a lot of nicer leotards. The lines of this one are especially flattering on me since I'm a little more broad in the shoulders than most. The shelf lining tends to ride up a bit, though, which makes it sometimes look awkward unless I've got it adjusted just right. It also doesn't offer much support so I wear a strapless bra underneath it.

I like this leo (I got red)but it is REALLY sheer! It shows my tight lines. If you are busty, this may not work for you. I have to wear a strapless bra when ever I wear this. I am sort of bigger, and I am 5'6" and 130 pounds. It is really comfy, and it is soft. I love the leg cut.

I got this leo in white and it really looks great on me, except for the fact that it is too big in the bust area. I'm a 34A, 5'5" but it fits me perfectly otherwise. I'm now ordering it in Royal because I really do like it. It really looks nice if you pinch it with a safety pin and that solves the problem of it being a little big. It really does look flattering, and is very comfortable!

I really like this leotard. The material is really nice. I'm a small in shirts and have a zero pant's size and it fits me perfectly. However, the leotard doesn't have a shelf liner, and one side of the halter did have to be re-sewed. But other than that, this leotard is really nice.

This leotard feels good and looks great! I like the fact that the halter doesn't fasten with a hook, so I never have to worry about the leotard coming undone. The material is really soft too.

This leotard is very flattering. Unfortunately you must start sweating soon to make sure the leo stays in place when you arch. The halter is so comfortable, the strap doesn't hurt your neck! I got it in black (due to studio rules) but if I had the chance I would get the other colors also! Such a great buy, just wear it to your hard class that makes you sweat!

I love this leotard. I am small (5'1") and about 85 pounds, and I usually wear an XS. However, this leo runs small and I ended up getting the S. Still, I really liked it. I have it in Navy and the color is beautiful, and it hasn't faded at all. The material is very comfortable, and I can't even feel the halter strap. The cut is also very slimming and flattering. I am rather flat-chested, and the neckline fit fine, but if you have a larger chest it may be a little low-cut. I have received many compliments on it, and I wear it for all of my classes, Ballet, Modern, and even Jazz, too. I really recommend this leotard.

This is such a beautiful leotard. The cut is amazing and the neck of the halter is soft and does not hurt your neck. However, the material is extremely thin. It shows every little bump in your body. If you are self conscious of any area of your stomach then do not buy this leotard. The material is very soft though, just the fact that it is very very thin.

It seemed like it would be a nice leotard. However, as soon as I started moving, it fell down and my chest was exposed. The fabric doesn't stretch, so I had a hard time getting it on and moving. Also, the straps were a bit too long to keep the front up. I'm not busty, so those who are--beware!

I love the style of this leo, it is VERY flattering. The color red was perfect for a Christmas show, except that there is no way to conceal the line of your tights! I think it could stand to be made of a thicker material. I was disappointed to see in the playback of our show, that you could see a line and even what looked like a roll at the top of my tights under the leo. Not very flattering. I ordered a Medium, after reading reviews that they run small. I should have gotten a small. It was rather roomy in the rear. I am 5'3" 100 lbs.

I love this leotard!!! It is one of the best I have ever bought. The only thing bad with it is that the material is like a swimsuit and you can feel the tights bump. But other than that, this is my favorite leotard I own right now!
