Teen Double Strap Camisole Leotard

I ordered a size large for my daughter who is 5'6". She likes it, but it is a little tigher than her other leos, so would recommend sizing up. Other than that, it's a great leotard - very pretty and nice material.

Don't believe the size chart! I ordered an adult XS for my daughter who has a 51 inch girth and it is too small. Otherwise it is a decent leo for a decent price.

I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size up. I would have ordered a small, but I'm glad I got a medium instead.

Got this for my modern class a couple of months ago, and it's really great. I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs, I got a large and it fits nicely, a little tight around the legs, but all in all it's held up really well. The built-in bra is fairly supportive and comfortable. I love the simple design and it's really worked out as I can use the leo both for dance and Colorguard and it doesn't restrict me whatsoever.

I'm 5'4" and around 115-120 lbs and ordered a medium instead of a small on accident. However, this worked out for the better! I absolutely love the simplicity and reliability on this Leo, but would recommend ordering just one size up. The color fades to a dark gray just the slightest bit (though I've had it for almost a year now.) It also has a built in support (shelf) for the front area which provides a little more support than a regular leotard. We are only allowed to wear black Leos for ballet and I didn't want to spend a ton of money for a boring, black leotard. This is definitely one of the best quality leotards for a decent price.

I love Capezio, it is my favorite dance wear brand, but this leotard is a piece of trash. I'm a very small person and have had many instances where XS is too big on me but I have never had an issue (with any type of clothing) with something being too small before!! Trying to get this leo past my thighs was a challenge and once I got the leo on, it was very tight and translucent. The quality of this leotard is very cheap, very thin, and very transparent cotton. I would definitely know cheap fabric anywhere since I study fashion. It seems like it would rip when doing any kind of activity, and that would definitely be a problem in a ballet class. I've been a dancer since I was 2 and have never come across such a problematic piece of dance wear. I'm going to exchange for a different size just because it's a better deal to exchange this than return it (was also going to place a new order today anyway). I start summer dance on Monday and now I have one less leo to wear. I would not recommend this leotard to anyone, even if I were to be paid to recommend it.

Yes I find this runs small. I'm 5' 6" and 135. I went with the large and it does hug the body a little snug- but I like that! It holds everything in place which having a 32 C is a good thing! Also it is cut really high and that's why I want more of them! It makes my legs look so long!!! I don't find that it rides up anymore than anything else I own however it's a little snug on the shoulders but I would rather than then be too loose ( which is usually my problem)

WARNING I am 90 lbs and around 5' 3'' The measurements they gave me made me think I needed a small. I actually was nervous I would need an extra small, but they do not give that option. Once I got it I could barely put it on, it was so small! The torso length was small and I had to bend down just so the straps would not dig into my skin. I returned it for a medium. Once I got the medium it was the same story just a little less extreme. I was definitely a little annoyed but I decided to try again and get a large. This one fits me MUCH better. It fits me really well! It is slim fitting but not super tight. I appreciate the modest cut as well. If the chart says you are one size, I would go AT LEAST one size higher. If you are a wider build, I do not suggest this leotard. It is slim fitting. One other thing. In the picture the leo looks like it would be a shiny material. This is not shiny, it is cotton! I like this much better, but if you are looking for a shinier leotard, don't get this. Overall, I actually do like this leotard, it is a simple yet very pretty back and I have gotten several complements on it. It fits me nicely and feels comfortable. I can dance hard and I don't feel itchy in it. The cut allows your underarms to breath and the straps form to your body shape and size. I would recommend this leotard, but I strongly suggest you getting a much larger size than you think. Discount Dance had amazing customer service and helped me get the size I needed professionally and quickly.

Bought an XS for 85lbs, 5'3" whose measures all fit the size chart for XS. No height info was on the chart. Fits extremely small.

I'll update my rating after I receive another size but I can't believe how small this runs. My daughter is 5'0" 90lbs. (actually just under) and she couldn't even get the straps over her shoulders. I got her the XS but I'm going to try the medium. I can't imagine how short you would have to be for the XS to fit.

This seemed to be nice quality, but the sizing was way off. My daughter is 5'1" 99 lbs and the XS was way to small. Had to go back unfortunately. I wouldn't be upset about it if the other 3 items we ordered had fit. The sizing on this website seems off.

I am 100 lbs 5 feet tall. I ordered a medium. Fit nicely until I washed it. Be aware that this cotton leotard runs small and it shrinks when you dry it in the dryer. I should have lined dried. The straps that cross tightened after drying and it became tight around my arm pits.

This was the tiniest leo I've ever tried on! I had to return it. I'm 5'5 and 110lbs, small bust, and I could barely get the size small on. Next time I will order a medium. (It's also small in length, so if you're average or tall height, definitely size up.) It looks like a very good quality leo though, and a cute style- just size up!

Bought this for my daughter. She is 8 years old--tall and a long torso for her age. Her torso is so long she's sized out of many of the children's sizes. By her measurements I thought she'd be an XS. The girth is right on, but it is super tight around her torso--to the point that she complains wearing it. She is also not used to having a shelf bra so maybe that is part of the problem? I'm going to order up to a small and see how that works. Otherwise it seems to be a good quality.

My daughter wore this all last season as a team dancer with her school, and it lasted well and she said it was comfortable. It just got a little too short to continue this year but when I compared the sizes of child/adult, as she outgrew the large child size, the xs seemed like it would be too big...but it wasn't. Too short by a lot, and very tight. It would seem that the next size up for the LC is the adult S, but we just ordered it so we will see...

Purchased this for my 13 yo daughter, she usually wears a medium, after reading other reviews stating item "runs small" I ordered the Large. It fit perfectly. She said it is comfortable & easy to move in.

This leotard is pretty good, especially for the price. It stays together really well. However, it had a bit more cotton than I'd like. If you like cotton, then this is the perfect leotard at a decent price. It holds everything in place, and the back is really nice. I ordered a medium and it was fine, but I also like my leos a bit snug.

I ordered this cotton Capezio leotard for my 13 year old daughter. We measured her before ordering and based on the size chart an adult medium should have fit well. When the leotard arrived she was so excited! It is soft and very pretty! She tried it on and it did not fit well. It must run small, because the torso was pulled snugly and the leg holes rose up, well above a ballet cut leg. She tried to plie' and Rond de jambe, but it was not comfortable. Since the leotard is cotton it will most likely shrink a little, so I decided to mail it back. We might try ordering an adult large if it goes on sale again.

This is by far my favorite leotard. It is very comfortable.I'm curvy and have a large bust,and the shelf bra holds everything in.The shape flatters any figure. The only bad thing is that the straps are a little tight,but other whys,it's perfect!!!

I am glad I read the reviews before ordering! When I did the measurements, my 5'1" (100 lb) daughter's measurements fit the "x-small to small" category, but after reading the reviews I decided to get the medium and it fit. It is s a beautiful, flattering leotard.

I bought this leotard because I wanted something that wasn't too low cut, and I wouldn't have to wear a sports bra with it. This leotard did just that, and is also so beautiful! I can't really comment on the durability of the leotard. I've had other leotards from Capezio before and they last very long so I'm expecting the same from this one. Overall, an amazing leotard for a low price! Hope this helped! :)

Definitely runs small. My daughter is 5'1", weighs almost 90 pounds, measures 30" bust, 22 1/2" waist and 34" hips. Originally ordered an adult small, and ended up returning it for a medium. Very basic and comfortable to dance in and washes great on delicate, cold and hang dry.

I just bought this mainly because Juliet Doherty was modeling it (oops) and because i thought it was pretty. I got it and it turned out to be a great leotard! It is a little tight around the shoulders and it runs small but i definitely would recommend to anyone!

I have this leotard in a size small in the lilac color. I am 5'1", 80 lbs with no boobs and I almost always order a size extra small or petite in leotards. However, I read the other reviews and went with a size small. I'm glad I did! The small fits great and the extra small would have been to short. The material is pretty standard cottony leotard fabric, and the Shelf liner is nice because it is the same color as the leo, not nude. I'm not bothered by this, but be aware that the leg line is pretty high. Overall, I really like the leo. :)

Because I saw the other reviews, i knew to order this big. My daughter is 5 feet and 85 pounds. I ordered an adult small. the legs are just too high cut and she must wear shorts with this leo. It does have a loose shelf bra, very little support for someone larger. It is 90% cotton and 10%lycra. It is super cute in back and she does love wearing it.

The size was right, but the legs were really high cut. This wouldn't be too awful, but the style was more like wearing a bikini and it didn't cover my butt all the way. Definitely not okay to wear to class.

I bought this leo about 2 weeks ago. It is very cute and looks great. But it does run very small. I followed the sizing chart and I was on the M/L cusp. I went will the large and it is still really small. I'm about 5'4" 120 lbs and almost a 36C . I have a very small torso and long limbs but the straps cut into the shoulders really bad. It's almost painful. I teach 5-6 hours a day and was only able to wear it for about 2 hours. Shop wisely and order large :)
