Introducing the revolutionary pointe shoe, the B Morph. Developed by Bloch in conjunction with elite dancers from around the world, the B Morph is the fastest pointe shoe in the world to be broken in. The B Morph is moulded to perfection by the individual dancer by applying direct heat from a hair dryer to the parts of the shoe that the dancer wants to adjust. The special D Paste becomes pliable once heated, allowing the dancer to work the shoes to their liking by bending with their hands or walking gently around the studio. Once satisfied the dancer simply places the moulded shoes into their fridge over night and the paste will set hard like a new pair of shoes, ready for use, tailored to the individual dancers needs. The shoes can also be placed in the fridge after any heavy sessions so that they return to as new condition, prolonging the life of the shoes.

I really like the fit box of these shoes. However, I find that these shoes break in a bit low on the feet but after popping them in the freezer, I was able to fix that a bit. I also really like that I can wear these shoes without padding and be fairly comfortable.

tarigirl7706/17/2015PRETTY GOOD...
I really like these shoes. I'm on my third pair now. Their super easy to break in, and they last for a while. Each pair of mine lasted about 6 months each, and I have really strong, wide, and kinda flexible feet. When you first get them they are really uncomfortable, (as are all pointe shoes) but after a few classes they morph to your feet really well.
(Tip! If you live in a really warm climate, or are going through a heat wave, or even if you get really hot in class. When you get home stick your shoes in the frezer for 5 minutes, this will help them to last longer)

AnnaS04/21/2014VERY DURABLE-NT SO COMFORTABLE
This was my first pair of pointe shoes. While taking a 90-minute pointe class once a week, they've lasted for 13 months. I'm not an expert considering this was my first pair, and maybe they just didn't fit quite right but they never supported me as much as I thought they should. The box seemed to stretch out with use and the satin on the toe ripped and fell off very soon after I got them. I am not going to purchase these again, but maybe that's just me.

adultbunhead02/23/2014JUST SO-SO... BUT THAT'S JUST ME.
If these were a traditional paste shoe, I'd pass on them. I was fit for these at a local store then ordered fro DDS because of the price. They don't end up something you can return because to really try them on you need to morph them first... but then you're yours.
They're fine, but not amazing in any regard. The TMT paste makes them interesting, so I'm going to keep them and continue to try and use them with my other preferred shoes on hand.
I find the vamp strangely long, and it seems to be there mostly for aesthetics because the paste stops quite a ways before the end of the vamp in these. The heal isn't very sleek in it's cut, so there is just a lot of fabric that I could do without if I had a choice.
The molding process is nice... you do have to be a bit more aggressive with the heat than you might think (and practically speaking... it's tough to keep the blow-dryer aimed at the shoe without scorching your fingers!).
The shoe comes with the Bloch pre-formed arch which is kind of annoying since you are going to morph the arch anyway. The preform breaks low on my foot, and I'd rather NOT have that gentle curve that's there and just have the break at the 3/4 that I put it.
What is GREAT, is that after hardening in the fridge you can always just heat these up and re-morph them if you find you formed them wrong... which we obviously can't do with traditional shoes when we're busting our water, and box cutters... so I like that...
I'd probably like a different shoe with the TMT paste better.

If you're looking for a shoe that lasts a while, you'll want to get these. They were my first pair and lasted for about a year (11 months). Keep in mind that I was only taking two classes a week on pointe for a total of about an hour and 45 minutes. The D-Paste really does work. It was fun breaking them in. When they started getting worn in though, the boxes started curving inward. This is because my feet are rather wide. My family doesn't have the money to constantly buy new point shoes every few months, so these worked out perfectly. I can't say if these are better than others because my experience with other brands is very low. I'm actually on the hunt for my second pair. So if you want a shoe that lasts long, you should try these on at a nearby dance store that sells pointe shoes to see if you like them.

Tenacity10/16/2013BEST POINTE SHOES EVER!
My teacher recommends these for ALL pointe students, regardless of their foot concerns. At age 61, a 2nd year pointe student, my feet have many issues that would stop most dancers; not me! They used to laugh at my search for comfortable pointe shoes; all I want is to dance pointe without fainting. After trying several shoe styles and every pad marketed, Bloch B Morph truly changed my life! Dubious at first, my teacher helped me heat and fridge my 1st pair. Adding self-made solutions, I'm dancing in shoes that rival another brand's custom shoes, but at a fraction of the cost. Since day 1, Bloch B Morphs let my aging feet dance without pain.
Though my 1st pair is still alive, I've bought 2 more pairs of these groundbreaking shoes. If only Bloch offered TMT in European Balance!
To impress my teacher as THE ones she recommends, you know they're amazing!

balletafter5001/04/2013ALL ABOUT COMFORT
After trying practically every other brand of pointe shoe over the past two years, I was fitted for this shoe at a dance shop and am thrilled that it is now offered at Discount Dance at a really affordable price. Not only does it live up to Block's promise of easy break-in, it is a very durable shoe. It also has some cushioning in the inside of the platform, which eases toe pain on hard floors. I wear a size 7 street shoe and order the size 5, but I also wear Eurotard's blue gel toe pads with them which takes up a little more room.

LydiaD05/30/2012LASTS FOREVER!
I have been dancing en pointe for 4-5 years and I loved this pointe shoe when I first tried it on! I had been using Bloch aspiration, but a year ago my teacher recommended that I might want to try a new kind. My feet are size 9, pretty wide, and I have an average arch. The size 7 XX is what fit me, and it made my arch look even better than what it is
The best part is these shoes have lasted a really long time. I dance about 6 hours a week and the b morph had lasted 6 months! I was also able to extend their lifetime to 8 months by applying pointe shoe glue. Overall, I love this shoe and I think I'll be sticking with it for awhile!

This is a very good pointe shoe. For me I dance 5 days a week en pointe and this shoe lasts long and I didn't have to break it in my morphing it it made it easy to use them right away in a performance.

Dance41104/01/2012AWESOME!
I have gone through Russian pointe shoes, Grishko 2007, European Balance, and multiple pairs of Bloch pointe shoes. but, none of them fit and lasted as long as the BMorph Bloch Pointe shoes. I take ballet roughly 20 hours a week and have been en pointe for 5 years now. These pointe shoes last way longer before dying than the other ones, i have a very high arch and a medium width foot so i loved these. it is very easy to break in!!!

I love these shoes! My feet are very archy and I go through pointe shoes very quickly. I have tried everything from Grishgo to Gaynors. I would go through Grishgos in 1-2 weeks and Gaynors in 2 weeks. I wasn't able to afford that many shoes (because pointe shoes are kinda pricey haha). I tried the B Morphs and my first pair I wore for 3 months. I am now on my 3rd pair. I wear a size 6 1/2 - 7 in street shoe and have a narrow heel, but I am pretty wide around the ball of my foot. I wear a 5 XXX in these shoes. I love the "boxy" box haha! They are GREAT and I would def. recommend them to friends with strong archy feet.

I love these shoes so much... when I first went on pointe i tried the Grisko's Maya and that did not support my arch and they wore out to quick ( I dance 6 hours on pointe a week) so then I tried Gaynor Minden and that didn't work for me because my feet are so wide and they weekend my ankles belive it or not then I tried these shoes because it sounded just like the Gaynor Mindens when I read reviews dancers said that if you put the shoes in the fridge for 5 to 10 min after each class then let them dry out they will last longer. usually pointe shoes last between 2 to 3 months for me these last like 4 1/2 months.... well anyway the shoes are great! the only bad thing is that it says when you mold the shoes to your feet and arch it will stay shaped to your foot my arch in the shoe always goes flat so thats the only con but most of all these shoes are great!

Does the block have additional padding in them?
I loved my Bloch shoes until extra foam type padding was added to the inside at the base of the block.
They added this padding because dancers that were wearing them a lot were having trouble preserving them in the toes. - Dancer9 (11/25/2015)
if i wear a size 6xxx in balance european would it be the same for b morph? if not what would it be?
The sizing suggestion for both the Balance and the B-Morph is to order 2-3 sizes smaller than your street shoe. I strongly encourage you to visit a local dance shop to have your foot sized, however, before switching shoes. - DDS Customer Service (10/14/2014)
i have the balance european shoes now. i just want to know what the difference is between these two shoes. which has a more narrow or tapered box? higher vamp? is the sizing the same?
The B-Morph is very similar to the Euro Balance. The Balance is suggested for Peasant and Egyptian type feet, where the B-Morph is good for all foot types. The vamp is also slightly higher in the B-Morph. Both have medium shanks, and very wide boxes. - DDS Customer Service (10/14/2014)
I currently wear Bloch Aspirations in 4.5 D. What size should I get in these since they run with x's?
The largest width in the B Morph is the XXX, and since you ordered the D in the Aspirations which is equivalent to a wide width I would suggest the XXX. - DDS Customer Service (04/04/2014)
How does B Morph compare to Balance European pointe shoes?
My daughters likes Balance Europeans and now is in her third pairs. She wants to try B Morph, but how is it different from Balance European? She wears size 8 xx in BEs, what size would you recommend in B Morphs? Thanks!
