Love this leotard, it’s very comfortable to dance in and makes me feel good. However, the color doesn’t exactly match (darker) and the shoulder straps do tend to fall down easily.

This leo runs very small. My daughter is 15 with measurements 32,26,37 so we sized up to the medium because her hips are wider though she is very thin. The medium is digging into her thighs and also tight at the straps (her torso may be long). We are returning it for size L. Otherwise a cute style and comfy fabric. Would have given it 5 stars if the size chart was correct. Very difficult to shop online when you can't count on the size chart.

just got this in the mail. with Theatricals leos, I always size up because the torso is too short for me, so I got a Large and it fit just fine. the adjusting straps are good so far (I read some reviews that they broke on first use). and it’s a nice scoop back too. the leg line is okay, I prefer a little higher cut but that’s just how this brand is. great leo for if you’re in a pinch. I have it in black. I have three other leos from this brand in light blue, pink, and white, and I always wear those nipple cover things because they’re very light. even though they’re lined it’s like not enough. this one because it’s black seems to be super opaque.

This leotard is amazing! I loved it so much after I bought my first one, that I now have three different colors in this style. My favorite is the red one because of its vibrant color, and the turquoise and purple are very sleek and stylish. My only complaint is that once in class the clasp of the leotard came un-hooked, leading to some very awkward flashing in my partnering class It would be better if it had no hooks and the strap was secured in place, but this has only happened once since getting this leotard 6 months ago. Overall the color, quality, and design of this leotard are the best you could ever get for this price.

I ordered size small, and the only complaint I have about this leotard is that the leg line digs into my butt very noticeably when I stand straight. I'm not super curvy around my hips, but it's still uncomfortable. Hopefully washing it and maybe stretching out the elastic a little bit will make the pinching go away. The color I got (forest) is beautiful and the leotard fits well everywhere else.

This leotard has quickly become one of my favorites to grab and wear to class both at the studio and at school because it is so comfortable and I love the color. I ordered a small since there is no petite or x-small (which is what I normally wear) so it is a little big. It fits mostly fine but the torso is too long so it just throws off my leg line a bit. However, I am allowed to wear skirts or shorts to some of my classes so this isn't a problem. As long as you're buying the right size, there should be no sizing issues.

I had to have a black leotard for a showcase I was in few weeks ago, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This leo is great for the price, but I'm not sure how long it will last. It has a bust lining and adjustable straps, which is a big plus for me! Overall, it's good for the price!

Despite having the measurements for a Small based on the size chart provided with the item listing (I am 5'3", 125lbs, 34" bust, 26" waist and 34" hips), I am definitely NOT a small. I should have listened to other reviewers who said this style runs small because I was nearly squeezed to death, it was so tiny. Apparently I am a Medium. I have a bigger bottom than most dancers and this leotard cut my butt almost in half. I'm hoping this can be attributed to the size, however if you're curvier on the bottom it may not be a great fit for you. Overall it's an OK leotard, but it runs VERY small and doesn't seem to want to accommodate curves. I'm going to reorder a larger size and hope for the best.

I must have received an anomalous leotard compared to other reviews. I have a couple of Theatricals leos already and I’m very happy with the fit and feel. This leotard, however, fits like its two sizes too small and the girth is uncomfortably too short. The weight of the material is thinner than my other leos from the same brand. Disappointing.

I bought this leotard in a size Medium and I am 5’8 and 141 lbs. I’m curvier than the average ballet body, mostly around the hips and thighs. I noticed this leotard rides very low on my breasts during class even though I have the straps so that it isn’t low ordinarily and I am not busty at all. This may not be the leotard for you if you are very modest. I also noticed that it cuts into my thighs on the sides and the butt quite a bit. As I mentioned before I am curvier than most ballerinas but I have plenty of other leotards in size medium that don’t chop my butt like this. I’m keeping it and I’ll wear it with a skirt because you can’t beat the price even if the fit on my body isn’t perfect.

I ordered this leotard to wear under shirts while I teach. I wasn't expecting much because of the many negative reviews, but it fit much better than expected. I'm 5'9, 190 lbs with a long torso and 36B bust and I purchased the XL. It was a little short (but my girth is 73 inches, so I was expecting that). The material is high quality and it is colorfast (I purchased teal). My only complaint is that the straps seem too connect almost in the armpits in the back... Maybe it's my rib cage size, or something, but I had no problems in the bust area. I have also ordered a second one in another color. For the money and my purposes, it is great.

I ordered these for my entire dance team and will be returning all of them after our fitting yesterday when they arrived. The straps fall off when they move and no matter how much you adjust them the adjusters just slide back down. Poorly made.

This was the first leotard I bought when getting back into dancing, I ended up buying 3 more because I liked the color selection and fabrics. It's very comfortable and allows for much movement, will probably be buying more of these.

I ordered a size medium per the size chart. I typically wear mediums in leotards. I received my order today with 4 colors of this leotard and they all have to go back. They are MASSIVE! They look like a large or X large! I tried one on and it sagged everywhere. As a reference I'm 5'10" and 115 lbs with a large chest and it was especially baggy in the chest, which is odd. These are all going back and I'm not sure I'm going to reorder these, which is a shame because I love all the color choices and the CHEAP price.

Keep in mind I have not worn this leotard yet, but only tried it on. My first impression was that it was quite see through. The material is thin, and doesn't hide much. However, it is flattering and the shelf lining is supportive. I am 123 lbs and 5"4 and I ordered a medium buttercup which fits me very well. The color is beautiful and looks good with my brunette hair. I would recommend this leotard, though it is a bit see through, it fits well.

I really like this leotard. I got a small in the light purple color, and it's great. It's not see through at the bust, just maybe a little bit in the torso area. The straps hold up great, and I haven't had any problems with adjusting them. I've had this leotard for maybe 6-7 months and it still works as great as when I first got it.

If I had enough time to return this and get a different leotard I definitely would. It runs small, but that isn't the main problem! It is very thin and completely see through!!! I am so disappointed in this product.

All the leotards I ordered for my daughter are beautiful! I ordered 7 different leotards for dance class, they were all different styles, but all very nice quality, great color. I also ordered dance shorts, they are great quality, and the color they show is a great representation. All the items fit perfectly!

My daughter found this leotard to be very comfortable. She is 9 and very thin & fit well in an extra small adult, with some room to grow. However, one of the strap adjusters broke after about 4 months & the leo was worn only 1 time/week. Fortunately, the price is great & my daughter liked it, but the durability isn't great.

If there is one thing that can be said for this leotard, is that it's definitely worth the price! However, there is nothing very special about this leotard. I find the fit to be accurate, and the adjustable straps can be helpful, but nothing stands out style wise. The shelf lining is more elastic than the rest of the cotton outside, and combined with the simple neck line, this leotard is relatively supportive. If you are looking for a similarly priced but more flattering and stylish leotard I suggest Capezio's tank leotard.

This leotard is unfortunately our studio's class uniform. I have so far been through 2 of them since the first week of September (5 weeks!). The straps don't just break, they crumble. DD has tried to make it right by taking it back, but its still a major hassle for me. I had to charge a 3rd leotard, when I get it, box up the broken 2 and mail them back for inspection to be reimbursed. I understand 1 breaking is a fluke, 2 is just lousy quality. They are no Capezio!

Quality is good for the price, and the fit is fine (I'm about 130 pounds/5'6" and ordered a medium)... It is just not flattering. Neckline comes up too high, leg too tight, and back too high.

I'm 5'5" 120lbs 32 B and ordered the medium. It is slightly loose in the chest and hips, and also seems a little long in the torso for me. I'm wondering if it will shrink if I put it in the dryer.

love love love this leo. i got it in eggplant and teal, and they are such beautiful colors. most likely will buy more in different colors later. i ordered a medium, which fits very well (i'm 5'0 and a size 34C bust). I ordered this leotard in black, size large, and I am 5'10' and 144 lb and it fits perfectly. I was worried about it being too short, but it fits well without being too low in the front. The built-in shelf bra is good support by itself. When ordering, be sure to measure the girth (hold a tape measure at the top of right shoulder, down in between the legs, and up the back to the right shoulder again, making sure the tape ends meet) as it is the most important measurement. Overall, it is very comfortable and seems pretty durable. Would recommend for anyone, esp. for beginners, who needs a basic leotard for class or lessons. Side note: I places my order on a Thursday night and received it the next Friday, so it was shipped pretty quickly, which was nice.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this leotard recently! This is a very well-made, durable, and dependable leotard, at a great value. The cut of the neck and leg line is perfect (neck line is not too low, and leg line is a modest and appropriate ballet cut.) I ordered it in the teal color, and it's beautiful. For reference, I am 5'4" and 125 lbs, and a medium fit me perfectly. This leotard will not disappoint!

This basic leotard was nice but WAY too short in the torso. I am petite but curvy- 5'2" 34-26-36 and my girth measures 58." I ordered a Small, not wanting it to be baggy in the waist, but I'm going to have to size up for length alone.

Call me crazy, but I actually LOVE this leotard. I have it in two colors, and if I didn't already have a drawer full of leotards I'd order a couple more. Yes, it is super basic. In that respect, you get what you pay for. There are no princess seams, or pinch front... it's simple. But it's lovely and soft. The adjustable straps are a nice touch and every bit as high quality as the ones on the pricier brands in my drawer, and the shelf bra liner keeps it from being too see-through, and offers some support. I take terrible care of them (machine wash and throw in the dryer if I'm in a hurry) and they've held up great. It's pretty true to the size chart, but definitely look at the sizing because it fits looser than some other brands.

I got this leotard not knowing what to expect. Some reviews said it had bad fabric (such as shrinkage and thinness), but many reviewers loved it. So, I found the fit to be very nice for me (i'm 5'5", 120 lb, longer torso). I got a large in purple (which I liked. nice, normal purple). Not too long/short for me, not to tight/loose, no digging in the shoulders, etc... BUT, the quality is just so-so...I almost expect it to fall apart after several wearings because the fabric is soooo thin. When I was taking it off, I could actually see through it...that surprised me because seeing through my leotards is not something that happens to me! I'm not sure if I want to keep it...it's one of those you get what you pay for.

This leo is soft and comfortable, but even darker colors are see through and have little to no support in the bust. I'm 5'5, 135lbs, and a 34A. I bought 2 mediums, one in red and one in purple, and both are almost completely see through in the bust. There's no way I can go braless because of it. If that's not a concern for you, this is super comfy and cheap and it does hold up very well.

I bought this leotard solely because of the price (I can't afford to pay $30+ per leotard) and I couldn't be happier with it. I purchased it in turquoise but I plan to slowly buy several other colors as well. It is a great basic design. I love the adjustable straps. I am a little busty for my frame (5'6", 120 pounds, 32C) and I teach a lot of little kids, so I don't like wearing low-cut leotards to teach. This leotard is a great cut for that. It's very comfortable and fits well - I have a long torso so fit is always a concern, but I purchased a medium and it's great. Since I've only had it a few weeks I can't comment on durability but it seems well made and so far has held up. I machine wash and air dry my leotards when they're new; after that I machine dry them, and I haven't noticed any shrinkage with this one.

I needed a few leotards and I was able to stop into a DD Store. It fit well in the store and I needed something then so I bought it. Well I handwashed it in cold water and hung it to dry. I went to put it on yesterday and it had shrunk! Not a little, but a lot. I can still get it on but it's snug. I've gained no weight, if anything I've lost a little lately. In fact I bought another at the same time that looks identical but the tag says Natalie. That one has been worn and washed twice and still fits fine. I think I'll be staying away from this brand in the future. I don't have good luck with it because the quality just isn't there. Bottom line. If you need something cheap and quick this will do in a pinch. And buy a size up to account for shrinkage.

I tried more expensive leotards, but this one is way better. I mean, everyone's body is different, but some leotards look just horrible on me. This is great. I got a small, and I am 5'4", 103 pounds. My hips are wider (33-34 inches) so sometimes I have to get a medium for certain designs, but this one was fine. Great product!

I bought this leotard in white to wear for a recital, and while it was comfortable and fit well, it was almost entirely see-through, especially under the bright stage lights. I could clearly see the lines on my tights through the torso part of the leotard, as well as the nude colored bra I had to wear under the leotard to keep my nipples from showing through the shelf-lining. I'm never wearing this leotard again, and would not recommend it to anybody.

I like the fabric. The cotton is great. I'm 5'6" and 140, bust size 36 D. Because the straps were pretty close together, my bust wasn't able to fit comfortably. Also, the leotard was very LONG.

This leotard is so comfortable! The adjustable straps and the shelf support is great. I got two, one Eggplant and one Garnet, and the colors are bright and very flattering. I am about 5' 2'' and 125 pounds and I ordered mediums. They fit perfectly. The price was awesome and the leotards came three days after I ordered them! I will definitely be buying again.

Got this leotard in Royal and I love it so much that I'm going to order it again in Lilac. It has a flattering open back, I've gotten so many complements on the color, and the adjustable straps are very convenient. Before I got it, I was worried about the reviews I read about the plastic on the straps chaffing the skin. So far I have had no problems with that, and I dance for a minimum of 4 hours a day. I would recommend this leotard to both beginners and advanced students. It's cheap, flattering and comfortable, you should buy it!

I love how this leotard fits and makes me look! it is really flattering and the low back is very elegant along with the neckline that is not low. my bust is around 32 D/ 34 C and it supports them super well i dont need to wear anything underneath. I would recommend this to any one! I got a size S because i have a tiny waist around 24 inches but my it also fits my hips which is 34 inches I am also 5'7 so it looked really good this product can look good on anyone

i just got this leotard today in black! it fits me perfectly, although the straps were a little long but they are adjustable! it seems like a good, durable material and the back is so pretty! i do wish it was a little more padded, but i popped in some removable pads from a sports bra and it worked great; hoping they don't fall out when i'm dancing. overall i would recommend this to someone! it's a great leo for a great price!

I thought this leotard ran long when I first put it on (I'm 5'1", 103 lbs) but then I realized that I just needed to adjust the straps a bit. I am pleasantly surprised by this leotard especially considering the $13 price. The neckline is flattering on me (I'm an A cup), and the material is 95% cotton (which I prefer over shiny material). I got the royal blue and it's exactly that. This is a very nice buy.

Oooo, those little plastic circles that connect the straps to the garment hurt by the end of the day. I ended up with raw, scraped skin. Not worth a dime.

Well, you get what you pay for! I purchased the black leotard so I'd have an extra, basic camisole. I've had no issues with size, no fading colors, has maintained it's shape okay so far. I've had it about 7 months. It's very soft and comfortable and provides good coverage, though it's not the most flattering of leotards... I think if I liked the style a little better I'd be more tempted to try different colors. :) I'd recommend if you're looking for simple, cheap, comfortable and reliable.

I got two of these as back-up leos because they were cheap. I didn't like how they fit at all. They were fine at the bottom but the top is too big and doesn't support my chest. I am 5'3", 100 lbs, 32A. The shelf lining goes down to about my stomach. I tightened the adjustable straps all the way and it still wasn't tight enough around my chest. Also, when I tightened them all the way the armpits went all the way up under my armpits which was uncomfortable. I don't like to wear padded bras with leotards, but that is the only way I got this to fit me. If you have a larger chest and longer torso it will probably be good.

This is an okay leotard. You get what you pay for. There is a variety of colors which is nice. I got the eggplant. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, it lost its color very fast. As far as sizing goes, the smaller Size would be better if you are on the border of two sizes like I was. This is because the straps were too big and the cut of the Leo a little awkwardly fitting.

I really love this leotard, it ran a little bigger than I expected The first one I got was a medium and it was way to big, but I can still wear it for some things if I tighten the straps all the way. I ordered another one in small and it fits amazingly. I'm 5'3", 110 but with a fairly long torso. My only complaint is that the shelf bra elastic is really low, it hits me in the middle / low rib area which is a little weird and makes it a bit less supportive. Also, because the elastic only runs across the front if you look at the side seems while you are wearing it you can see a spot where the seem pulls forward where the bra is attached. But those are minor. This leotard made me never want to wear my old one again.

I bought the eggplant color and the black. The colors on the picture look exactly how they do in person. The sizing runs great, the only thing that was a bother was the adjustable straps. They kind of dig into your shoulders so it gets to be annoying, but you get used to it :)

I bought this leotard for a intensive that began last week. I don't really like the cotton feel, and the leo does run large. I usually where a medium in leo's (5'2, 105 pounds, b cup) and this leo was big. The self lining was very big and in class it was folding and bunching. The adjustable straps were nice. Without them I would not be able to wear this leo.

I bought this leotard in white for my summer intensive. It's average when it comes to thickness, and though it has a full front lining and the bust area is covered pretty well, the stomach and back is see-through. However, the adjustable straps are amazing! They really make the leotard worth wearing.

Love the color (teal) but straps have a hard time staying up, even when you try and adjust them, it slips eventually as you dance. Nice material, will use for stretch and strengthening class or yoga, but can't use on higher impact classes.

Is the fabric of this leotard a thicker material like in the Mariia and some Bloch leotards or a thinner, stretchier material? I'm going to a summer intensive in Texas and need a leotard that won't be thick and get sweaty easily since it will obviously be very hot!

This is a cotton leotard. Which will allow it to breather a little more. This would be a lighter weight material.
