These shoes had great reviews so I gave them a try and they did not fail me! The sizing is perfect! Exactly my street shoe size (which is a 7.5) and the jazz shoe fits the same! They're comfortable and have enough give for your arch! I'm in an adult beginner jazz class and these are awesome! They feel great in class!

First time we purchased a jazz shoe we did it at a local store, because we had no idea on what size to buy, where they cost over $45. This is the exact same shoe they offered and price was almost half! Will definitely buy them from here again.

I bought these shoes this year hoping for a new shoe that would last. I was terribly wrong. After dancing in these for half of the year in one jazz class per week and show choir twice a week, the heel completely broke off. You can tell the shoe is poorly made because the heel was partially peeling off when I bought them. Also, when I pointed my toe, the entire shoe shifted and the heel was so chunky that it actually hurt my foot. It does not conform to the foot and it was even starting to develop rips early on. I tried to dance in these after the left shoe broke while I was waiting for a different pair to arrive, but the heel difference hurt so badly on my ankle and arch that I would have rather danced in footundeez for my jazz class. I would recommend some Bloch jazz shoes instead or anything else besides these. Even though the price is right on these, spend some more money on a better quality shoe.

This bootie runs a little small. My girl is 8 1/2 but had to order 9. They are comfortable and durable.

I ordered these shoes about six months ago, and after twice-weekly wear by my daughter at dance class, they still look great. In fact, the leather has worn so nicely, I think they are probably more comfortable and soft than when we first got them. They are cheaper than other brands, but I am impressed and would recommend them. We just ordered another pair in tan for a competition. As far as sizing goes, we ordered an 11. My daughter generally wears between a 10.5 and 11 in street shoes, so they are pretty true to size.

My 11-yr-old daughter just needed these for a musical, she is not presently in dance class. They seem to run true to size and fit her well even though she has wide feet and is EXTREMELY picky about feel and fit of shoes. I have to make her take them off after rehearsal. They were cheaper than other brands and we are completely happy.

I purchased these for my daughter who is on her high school Drill & Pom team. I am usually a faithful Capezio customer when it comes to dance shoes, but this is the shoe the team went with. I was pleasantly surprised at the price as well as her size being available for immediate shipping. She wears a size 11 in women's. We found these run very true to width/size. Super happy our coaches researched and found this site for dance shoes! Saved a bunch of money and shipping took only 3 days to WA state! :o)

I had to order these shoes in black for my high school dance team and I was extremely happy with the results! They are very comfortable and have a good look. I ordered my street size (7) and they fit very well! I wore them the same amount at dance camp as my Bloch "Elasta Bootie" and they didn't start to smell as quick the Blochs did. Which is really important when you go to camp because you are sharing a room with 2-3 other girls who are airing their shoes out too after a long day of dance. I turn really well in them and highly recommend them as a cheaper alternative.

This jazz shoe is comfortable and seems to be good quality made dance shoe for the money. I'm disappointed that the shoe color doesn't look tan, but rather caramel. I should have bought the black color instead.

I have been wearing different brands of Jazz shoes for almost 10 years now. I have a wide foot and a high instep (and slightly high arches), I usually just go 1 size up in Capezio/Bloch and the shoes will fit fine. This shoe however, was really tough and extremely tight on my instep. Lengthwise, it was a bit too long, but the instep was wayy too low. I thought maybe I needed to break them in, which I tried one night, but my feet got really swollen and I could not dance in them. I do not recommend this shoe if you have a high instep.

Over my 19 years of dancing, I've used alot of different brands of shoes, especially jazz shoes. These Dance Now jazz shoes have been one of the best pairs I've ever owned! I've had these jazz shoes for 3 years now and I love them! They fit real comfortable and they're holding up really nicely. They do stretch over time, so they're not snug on my feet, which is good because I have wide feet and my toes don't feel like they're being squished. They fit nicely and the tan color matched all my tan tights which was even better! Nothing is worse than being onstage in suntan tights and your shoes end up being a gray tan shade....these are not! I would say the only thing to be worried about when using these shoes, if you have alot of rehearsals and use shoes up, I would recommend roughing up the bottoms of these over time, because they do become a little slippery once worn in and the traction is smoothed over. Other than that, I highly recommend these shoes to any dancer or instructor!! :) I'm getting ready to order another pair in black for my upcoming competition season! I'm a street shoe size 7 and I ordered these in a 7 1/2 and they fit perfect, just a little extra space for my toes.

This shoe is pretty decent. My high school dance team switched to this shoe from the Bloch super jazz shoe. Personally I prefer the super jazz shoe. It allows the foot to breathe more and is a little bit more durable. This dance now jazz shoe, however, is cheaper and performs similarly to the super jazz shoe. It lasted me around five months of dancing for approx. eight hours a week before getting a hole at the tip of the shoe.

I have had one pair of these shoes for over three years: they are amazing. I started using them for jazz and when there's a bad floor for ballet; and after three years I'm still using them for a ballroom theatre arts piece. They are wonderful!
They have scuffed up a wee bit from rolling over my arch, and the traction on the bottom has smoothed over from being used intensely on a finished hardwood floor for ballroom dancing. But hey, these have held up sooo well for sooo long, I really recommend them! My pair is black, I am a little worried about the shade of tan I'm going to get when I re-order them. Hopefully not gray or yellow or orange...Oh well!

I love these shoes. I use them for everything from ballet to hip hop, and they work really well. I like how I don't have to bother with laces, too. I've had them for three years and they're only now starting to tear at the toes. Great shoes, very economical.

These shoes are great. I have abused them so much and they have held up well. They look like my cousin's competition ones from Revolution but sooo much cheaper. They are extremely comfortable but you def. need to break them in.

Shoe itself was OK. My daughter wears about a 2
in kids so we had to order adults. We ordered a 4 and it's 2 sizes too small. Unfortunately DD doesn't offer any info on sizes other than "same as street" and they don't offer any assistance with their inflated shipping costs for exchanges. The shipping costs will be more than twice as much as the item itself. Won't shop here again. Could have paid the higher price at a store and still spent less then here.

Only jazz shoe my son wants and they hold up very well! Sizing is weird - he wears a kids 4 1/2 shoe but an adult 7 in this. Great shoe for the money.

Shoes are great. Very comfortable and shape foot. The only suggestion is to order a size 1/2 up or 1. Like I wear a size 10 normally and I ordered a size 10.5 fit perfect! My feet are narrow so that was ok but if you have wide feet this isn't for you!

I bought these shoes because they look just like the shoes my company team uses and they are at least $20 cheaper. They don't last quite as long as some other shoes, but you can buy another pair and it would still not add up to the price of other shoes! Great shoes. I would recommend them to everyone!

First of all, when my mom purchased these online, I anticipated they were going to be just like my older jazz shoes--Complete opposite.
I don't have a problem with excessive perspiration, and the workouts weren't nearly as rigorous as usual and my feet still got super sweaty in the white-waffle design.
My feet have some width to them, not much, and it is so hard to put on the shoe.
I recommend BLOCH Jazz Booty.
If you must purchase these, know the fit is odd. Super narrow width, Extra baggage my the toe. Not a good fit for a dancer who dances seriously.
I do not recommend these shoes, but if they must be purchased, wear them with something on your feet, like tights, to stop the uncomfortable sweating, which causes slipping.

This is a great buy for a great shoe! My studio uses a much more expensive shoe, but "Dance Now" makes a jazz shoe that looks exactly the same and is of outstanding quality. These shoes are great!

I bought these shoes and used them for colorgaurd. They lasted the whole 9-week season of marching in the rain, outside, and on gravel. If you used them for only indoor studio dancing, they would probably last longer. Very good shoes for the cheap price!

I just put on my pair that I received in the mail (fast shipping) and they feel way better than my Bloch lace ups. A little extra material on my toes, but that could have been a sizing error on my part, due to the male feet ordering a female shoe. I would recommend these shoes.

I have a pair, and they lasted sooooo long. I bought them in August/September of 2006. They lasted till December when they first started getting holes in them. They'd last longer if I didn't dance on concrete and asphalt. They broke in fast, fit so nicely, and the only complaint is that they wear out!

I ordered this pair of shoes for my 10-year-old daughter and she wears a size 5. These were too small for her so I'm reordering them in a 6 1/2 to see if they'll fit much better. The size 5 were really tight and that is her street size.

I would like to say, that this shoe is really tapered at the toes, I have square, short-toed feet, and there is some excess material there. I suppose I could have been OK with a size 6, although my normal street shoe size is 6.5-7, although I like my dance shoes tight! I will update more after a couple weeks of 4 days a week 3+ hours at a time of use! So far, wearing them around the house, they seem like they are going to be great!
